Great stuff, not sure what's more heroic the car or the fact that you use it as a daily!

Would have loved to have had a couple of runs against you in my car, but definitely wont be at the Pod now as my turbo is knackered

It wouldn't be my daily if I wasn't such a pauper and could afford another car! :?
It would also be a more hard-core, stripped out track slaaaag!

But as I only live seven miles from from work the fuel consumption (about 17mpg average) isn't such a big deal.

Shame about your car mate, I was hoping to see and hear it going up the strip too! :(

I've only got one passenger coming with me so far so you can jump in with me if you want to go anyway..?

It should be fairly potent now if it was under 15 last time. I think a 13.6 is on if you nail the start.

I think if you go over 110mph you should wear a crash helmet. It used to be a 100, but so many production cars will do that these days anyway. Probably worth putting one in, just in case.

Yeah, I'll take a crash hat and use it if I'm told to!

So I guess it's fine if you crash at 100mph, but not 110mph!

I spoke to Ant the other day and he predicted 13.2 seconds!

I'd be quite happy with anyting under 14 for now.

Cheers for the offer, but I think I'll stay at home and get the replacement turbo fitted. Good luck down the strip, mid 13's would be good.

Good luck at the pod, like said before, getting off the line is going to be tricky !

Might be worth playing with tire pressures ?

Cool, was wondering if you were still on the standard pump.

Gareth, I'm staying at home watching football and molesting my car! Would you be able to drop that catch tank off per chance? If it fits neatly somewhere I'll take it off your hands.
