My V5 says my car is a 1990 320i 2 door (it is an E30... this much I know 8)) but... mine has sports front seats and colour-coded bumper tops & bottoms. Is it a "sport" or an "SE" or what? What wheels were standard on it (BBS, bottle tops, or hub caps?!) and what is (was) the BHP of mine? I know E36's inside out, but the E30.. well, I'm getting there (and having a lot of fun at the same time)

If it's a sport or an SE it will say so on the V% so it's just a 320i with some options by the sounds of it.

Avatars are 60 x 60 max, please can you size it down.

its exactly what your V5 says! can't remeber if the V5 says if its an SE or not, but do you have all electrics etc etc? Its def not a sport as there is no such thing as a 320i sport...

Alloys TBH it could have had anything really, think by 1990 bottlecaps were standard, but it may have had options (even dealer fit ones) Are the wheels on it at present proper bmw ones? think "5 spoke softlines" where a dealer fit.

You can ask your dealer exactly what spec your car should/shouldn't have. Just need your Vin

Think your car has been modded, had some aftermarket stuff put on, for instance the sideskirts, and possibly the rear spoiler.

Power to weight of an 320i is 110bhp/1000kg

My car has...

Front Sports - see http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v655/ ... large9.jpg
Electric Windows
Electric Sunroof
Rear Spoiler (Horrible)
Part-painted bumpers & side skirts
Wrong Alloys!

Have the V5 here... definitely just a 320i 2 door!

by far the easiest option is go to the dealer with your chassis number! Whats written on the log book doesn't mean f**k all to be honest it could have 320i road rocket on it if you really wanted.

Look at this and see if that helps

- Front disc brakes; rear drum brakes
- Steel wheels & flush covers (5.5J x 14)
- Twin sleeve gas-pressure shock absorbers
- Rear centre arm-rest
- Opening side rear windows (2 door only)

320i Special Equipment: RRP Ԛ£16,900 (2 Door); Ԛ£17,700 (4 Door)
- Front disc brakes; rear drum brakes
- Twin sleeve gas-pressure shock absorbers
- Opening side rear windows (2 door)
- Rear electric windows (4 door)
- Velour carpeting
- Leather illuminated gear knob (manual); leather insert in gear selector (automatic)
- De-chrome
- Sports steering wheel
- Alloy wheels (6J x 14)
- Rear spoiler equipment & side sills
- Colour-coded door mirrors

- Check/control system
- On-board computer NO!

- Headlight cleaning system NO!

No OBC, Headlight WW or a couple of other bits, but otherwise - there or there abouts. Used to use the BMW delaers in Bromley/Hayes when I had my E36 touring (320i) - found them really good. Might call in to my local one in Aylesford over the weekend & try to suss out what my car is! Well spec'ed 320i by the sounds of it!

Sounds to me a standard 320i with options.
My Tourer has factory fitted Recaros,M tec steering wheel and gearnob,15" BBS Crosspokes, front fogs, headight wash wipe, leccy windows and sunroof, but despite all this,it's just a boggo standard 325i with factory extras.

I guess it's the same as my mate's 2000W 318i (E46)... full leather, dealer supplied AC Schnitzer 8x17's, AC lowering, AC mirrors... and it has manual windows in the back!!! Boggo cars, but well spec'ed (sometimes)!

If you go to BMW in Aylesford the parts man can print off the original order spec for your car from your chasis number. They are pretty helpful in there for a $tealers!
