new hub needed??

When re-fitting my wheels the other day i managed to strip the thread off one of the bolts!!

after removing it and refitting a fresh one (bolt that is), it now just spins when i try to tighten it!

So i'm driving around with three bolts until i get a way forward.

Do i need a new hub? someone has suggested re-tapping it possibly?

I always thought this was and easy thing to do cos the bolt was ally and the hub steel? but since been told otherwise.

If i need a new hub how much are they and does anyone have one (offside front 87 cabby)

£50 odd new from GSF for a fag one. the hubs are steel not ali!

front right, i'm working in portsmouth and living north east england so i'm all over really.

is it just a case of fitting it then getting wheels tracked/aligned then? - probs a stupid question but i have no idea
