Great stuff! I take it the exhaust part numbers we spoke about were correct?
Also the center cover on your steering wheel is slightly different to mine.

Yeah, went with the earlier 3 piece centre box.
Different font?

So it just goes to show that, although they share the same part number, they DO differ in detail!bss325i wrote:

The wheel in the first pictures was an italvlanti wheel with an alpina badge stuck on. Sweet steering wheel though.
The pad you have on there is from an e36 alpina wheel.
Nice car btw....

That is awesome. I love how mint everything is. I want to DIE in that interior!
My one critic is your drivers side headlight wiper is faced the wrong way. Both are supposed to be idled facing towards the kidneys. I take it they are inoperable since the drivers side is faced the wrong way, nobody would know if it faced the correct way

Thanks for the previous comments.....
Ive not posted for a while and quite a bit has changed since so thought i'd update the thread.
Managed to get hold of some genuine BMW recareos, they have been fixed up, re-foamed and covered along with an M3 rear bench.

The engine bay has had new hoses and bottles, looks a bit tidier.

WOW! Nice work with the seats!
Out of interest, how or where did you get the foams for the bolsters as they are NLA and quite a few zoners including myself would like to know a decent solution as other recaro variants are the wrong shape.
P.S this car just gets better and better!

The trimmer made the new bolsters, using the originals for templates.Out of interest, how or where did you get the foams for the bolsters as they are NLA and quite a few zoners including myself would like to know a decent solution as other recaro variants are the wrong shape.

I really wish I had a black Alpina now. Car just looks devine. It's Alpina's like this that made me go out and get one. How can anyone not want one with examples like this around!
I would say you need the Alpina badge on the cow plough as I think it will make everything perfect. I am loving the mats too. I would love a set for my 2.5 made up.

Yeah, going to look similar aren’t they. Ive been following your 2dr resto closely Si13, great project! The finish of the bodywork looks to be top notch from the pics! And all the brand new bits of trim make a huge difference to the overall finish. When are you looking to have it finished by?Simon13 wrote:thats how mine is going to look when done. Funny you should say that felix i ordered a Alpina script badge for the front spoiler recently, after trying a spare old one I had.Felix79 wrote:I really wish I had a black Alpina now.
