bumper black strip dilema

hi all

just stuck in a dilema i have started to get my project started on my bog standard 320i convertible i have got hold of some mtec 2 front and back valances which are going to get sprayed and put on to the car just wanted to know shall i get the black plastic strips on the bumpers colour coded or shall i leave them black

any recommendations appreciated

The MTechnic II bumpers don't have provision to fit the plastics.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

cars has gone told them to respray the complete bumpers in same colour thats the plastic bumpers the black strips and also the valances i ve also told the bodyshop to put the lip that was on the car on to the mtec 2 valance

its the lip at the bottom what do you reckon and can someone tell me what lip it is aswell pls
