It been like this for a few weeks........................

I have now added a second amp for the speakers and trimmed the wood in a nice black carpet, I’ve also had a go at tidying up the wiring so its looks nice and neat, anyways heres the pics, sorry about the quality the iPhones camera is shockingly bad!!

Still gotta clean it up a little bit, add a power cap and raise the gold fuse boxes so they sit on top of the wood to make changing blown fuses easier.

very well done, much better than finding the sub the other side of the boot with all the wires yanked out

if my sub would fit under the rear shelf in the cabby i would try and copy you but theres just not the space :(

should be good up to the point it over heats!!! (or you get a flat tyre  )

i would consider some more ventilation for the amp if you are running it hard.

otherwise looks really good!!

The alpine amp has it's own fan and has lots of air getting to it, the other amp for the speakers is very low power so overheating should not be a problem.

There's also vents all around the sides of the install which I left open on purpose.

As far as the spare tire goes I've designed it in such a way that I can pull it all out in about 10 minutes if needs be

Looks nice and tidy!!!!!

Don't bother with the power cap (waste of time), or the fuse blocks!! If it's blowing fuses, sort out the problem and you won't need to change them

Cheers buddy TBH the only reason i want to raise the fuse blokes and add a power cap is for ascetic reasons.

My plan is to mount the fuse blokes towards the back to preserve the clean look of the install and cut another hole so the power cap can be half sunk in to the false floor to again preserve the clean look of the install

Another wee update on the boot install

Changed all my wires for 8 guage and fitted a 1 farad capistor also made much better earth via one of the seat belt bolts, the overall difference is amazing its picking up b-line that it never did before and dropping much harder!

Should be pretty accurate, you could always get a second reading by using a sound level meter, think they're pretty cheap to buy :)
