Hi I got a wierd problem with the indicator relay. when stopped or driving the relay is clicking away, I have just replaced incase it was a weak spring but the new one does it as well.
The indicators and hazzards all work fine, but when the relay is clicking without being switched no lights are flashing. I have gone round and cleaned the earth points and had the switch out to have a look and there does not seem to be aynthing wrong, all wires are OK.
It is as though someone is tying to send morse code, maybe aliens???????

its a ghost!!!!!!!hehehe, but seriously, does it do it all the time? like as soon as you switch the car on?
maybe make sure all the lights are plugged in nicely. This one time my back light holder (in the boot) was slightly on too tight and i was getting a disco show on my dash.

this may sound silly, but try fiddling with the indicator stalk (twist it / pull push/ back /forth etc.) and see if the noise changes.

clicking starts as soon as the key is turned, clicks quiclkly the same as hazzards and continues whilst driving,it does sometimes go intermitant like a loose wire, but I have checked all connections even when the steering column shrouds were of. I checked and cleaned all lamps and contacts.
and yes my wife thinks it maybe a ghost trying to make contact!!!!!

Replaced indicator stalk today everything works hooray.
opened up old one and found a lot of oxide between the copper tracks, you might be able to see it in the pic
