Hi guys,
I have got a new timing belt, tensionser, water pump, dizzy cap and rotor.
After putting everything back together and making sure the belt and rotor is correctly set at tdc. Do I need to do anything else to set the ignition timing ?
Is a timing light needed ? if it is needed, how and what do I adjust to set the ignition timing correctly ?
Thanks
Changing timing belt questions ?

Only timing require is to the belt, using the marks on the top and bottom camshaft pulleys.

If this engine has the h/t leads attached to the front of the cam, above is correct.
If it is the earlier jetronic version with a 'proper' distributor mounted low under the front of the inlet, there is an additional timing mark for the dizzy. This is shown in Haynes 815.....
