I have, but mine took me a good day, as I took out all the seats trims etc....
Sub and amp are both in the boot.
Do you have a battery in the boot??

Is your sub in a box??
What you need to do is place the amp and sub roughly where you want to put them.
Then work backwards from there to the front of the car.
That's how I do it.

youll have to drill a hold in the bulkhead! run it through interior into boot

i cheated with mine by running it through the wing but it is a lillte messy! would never do this on a car i was being payed to fit it,

It's not an all day job IMO.

Need to remove the door kick-panels (run the amp wire here), remove rear seat to thread wires through.

You need to drill a hole in the bulkhead, i have a pic somewhere.

Couple of hours :)

To make life easier, remove the drivers seat for a bit more room :) Only 4 bolts.

Main thing is getting the wiring right, all hidden so you can't tell 8)

Under the brake servo in the engine bay you have a large rubber grommet,I would run your main + lead through that rather than drill the bulkhead!
Run your RCA leads along the centre of the car under the centre console/rear carpet/rear seat base.

easy mate, i ran the amps battery cable through an existing gromet, right next to the battery, so no need to drill the bulkhead, then i simply unclipped the sill protector on the drivers side (or whatever they are :? ) then lifted the edge of the carpet, hid the cables, then when it came to getting the wires into the boot, i lifted the boot carpet out and theres a gap in the bottom corner of the boot behind the seat on the drivers side, and you can get the wires into the boot through there. as for the rda leads n the remote wire from the head unit, i ran them straight out the back of the unit, then across the top of the peadals and ran them into boot with the battery cable, that make sense???

you would have plenty of time in 2 hours :)

as said above run RCA and power cables down different different sides of the car or you have rally car noises on the radio  :D

ive got mine positive going through the bulkhead next to the battery tray under carpet and since it was done with carpet out across the floor and through the rear firewall on the passangers side, then the rca and remote come from back of radio down the passanger side and into the firewall with the power cables

then you need a suitable earth, some speaker wire and a few tie wras, tape, screws etc to hold it all in place.

Personally i would do away with the Sub unless you want to shake the cars in the hood, or at least amp and upgrade the speakers first,

ive got comps in the front and some nakamichi 6.5s in there rear and they produce quite puncy bass thats enough for me, now ive got the Naks in the rear i can run plenty of bass through them and at volume too, ive got an amp that produces 4x 50w RMS which sounds no more than alot of headunits, but when headunits say 50w its usually the max power and are probably only producing 28w rms :D

Thanx for everyones input!
Alex- i did the exact same thing in my old corsa..i upgraded the speakers and amped my 6x9's so make it a bit more bassy and i was happy with that untill i seeked a bit more bass and got my sub..what a difference that made!

and since then i really miss the kick a sub gives so im prob going to fit the sub at some stage..def have to improve the speakers first :thumb:
