Exact times and details to be arranged but who is up for another Dartmoor or Cheddar Gorge meet?
Early October is good for me so im suggesting the 4th?
Previous ones have always had a good turnout and been a good laugh.
Anyway post up if your interested with your suggestions for times and places to go and we can work it out from there :D

My free Sundays are the 11th & 25th. in October, but I reckon I'm owed a couple of favours after these past two days. Cheddar's probably good for the Somerset guys, Dartmoor is probably better for the Cornwall guys, either seems good to me. Count me in - I'll warn them when I get back to work.

So shell stick to meeting up on the 4th October then?
Personally both locations have plus points for me,Dartmoor is right on my doorstep but Cheddar is a nice drive upto it and generally nice place to be so either is good for me.
Suppose Cheddar is more central for the whole SouthWest so shall we just go with that?
Will need local guys to arrange meeting/parking/eating points though as I dont know the area at all.

So 4th October at Cheddar Gorge. All BMW`s welcome and ill be posting this up on the E36Coupe forum too so if any of your mates want to attend feel free to add there names to the list!

Copy and paste please guys.....

Anymore up for this??

Those from Torbay area fancy meeting up at Sainsburys(Penn Inn) and convoying up together?
Say 10am?
Maybe stop off along the way to meet up with others?

Also I dont know Cheddar area at all so we could do with someone with knowledge to guide us around the gorge and maybe find us somewhere to stop off for lunch?

Is there a time arranged to be at cheddar??

There's quite a few going from near me, so who's up for meeting at M5 J25, near the Murco petrol station that's just off the motorway roundabout? Then travelling up in convoy.
Alex (never without a map and satnav!)

I've copied this from Tim's meet earlier this year, seems like a sensible format.

Taunton petrol station M5 J25 (NOT TAUNTON DEANE SERVICES) 10:55am - 11:05am

Sanders Garden World (North on the A38 of M5 J22 on the right hand side) 11:30am-11:45am

Cheddar Gorge 12:00pm-12:15pm

Then my suggestions would be a cruise up through the gorge on the B3135,
Left onto the B3134,
Right onto the A368 at Burrington,
Right turn after Compton Martin onto harp tree hill (road) and the pub below is a short drive down there.

(Copied from Tims previous meet also)
The Wellsway Inn
West Harptree
nr Bristol BS40 6EJ
01761 221382

OR, An alternative could be left at West Harptree onto the B3114 and there is a cafe and car park by Chew Valley Lake (on the lakes NW shore near Chew Stoke)

Please don't think I'm taking over guys, just putting suggestions forward as it's on Sunday.

You seem to have it all under control and know what your talking about so feel free to take over the reigns mate.
In fact I think you just delegated yourself `leader` :P

Ill be at Sainsburys in Newton Abbot for 10am so happy to meet any locals and travel up together.Think some may be going from Exeter area so we could stop off and meet up there for say 10.30?
We can then head upto Sanders Garden World for11:30am-11:45am to meet up with the rest.

Is that the wellsway inn that's closed down? Can you suggest any others suitable? I seem to remember driving past something suitable in or near to burrington on the main road. EDIT that was a garden centre, not ideal.

Weathers looking good, looking forward to it!

Here's a list for page 2.
Could people put notes next to their names about who (adults/kids) and how many for lunches. Thanks

Found a pub, big enough car park, it's a brewers fayre, ideal for short notice, it's on the A38 just South of Winscombe.

Sainsbury's Newton Abbott 10.00am

Exeter moto servies 10.30am

Taunton, M5 J25 petrol station Murco (just off the motorway roundabout, NOT TAUNTON DEANE SERVICES) 11:00am

Sanders Garden World (North on the A38 of M5 J22 on the right hand side) 11:30am-11:45am

Cheddar Gorge 12:00pm-12:15pm

Then onto the-

Sidcot Arms
Bridgwater Road
Winscombe
BS25 1NN

So now a revised cruise.
Up the gorge on the B3135,
Left onto the B3134 just before Red Quar,
Left onto the A368 at Burrington,
Left onto the A38,
Left into the Sidcot Arms after about 4 miles.

No need to put names down for lunches, booking not required.
