managed to break one of my centre caps whilst removing without proper tool. at least i now know how they work! question is this- do all bbs centre caps (15" wheel) fit? are they all metal outer or are some plastic?
I have been looking on ebay but some of the descriptions are a little bare!

the plastic ones don't fit, nor do 14in ones.

an arrow on the outer bit of the mesh part is the easiest way to tell a plastic e34 cap if the photo is ok
cheers,

harry

Best to message the seller and get the part number from the back of the cap - make sure it matches yours
