We got to the nutwell for 12 (as agreed) and a FEW others turned up shortly after. We waited an hour then gave up and went on down to Exmouth seafront and still didn't find anyone
I was a bit disappointed with the Route 38 meet tbh but thought i'd give this one ago anyway and, apart from seeing a lovely E30 M3 and a couple familiar faces, it was a bit of a waste of time imo
Its got to be the first meet i've ever been to where the organiser didn't show up
Still... The cars that did turn up were nice and it was good to meet a couple more people
What happened to everyone else????

I was nursing a hangover this morning and wiring up electric fans this afternoon
Was going to say sorry I missed this one but by the sounds of it dont think I am to be honest?
Think I might organise a meet for early October....Dartmoor probably as thats always been good in the past

i didn't think it was a bad meet and the people who tuned up made it worth going to . it was better than the last one at route 38 imo . Tony i can remember the last dartmoor meet and it was a good one .

I thought it was a good meet, albeit lower than expected turnout, no organiser, and no real plan for the day, but most had a good time. People were friendly and sociable which makes a nice change. And I plan to keep in touch with a couple of those I met.BIGTKB wrote:We got to the nutwell for 12 (as agreed) and a FEW others turned up shortly after. And, to be fair Tim, you were leading us to a pub that only 2 people knew where it was, then raced off at 60mph in a 30mph zone and split the group in two.

Yesterday was supposed to be the first day of a 10 day break, but I suddenly found out I had to work so I couldn't go. Today was supposed to be the second day of my 10 day break, but I had to go in again and do 3 or 4 hours, which lasted 9 I've also discovered that the 10 day break will be more like 5 at most
I envy you that hangover Tony and if I wasn't so knackered, I'd go up the road and get one for myself
But there's some BBS that need sanding down. October and Dartmoor sounds good - new deadline for the wheels
