I have no power at all to my instruments or ignition. The battery is fine and I have power to the starter motor. I have checked the inline fuse from the battery on the thin cable and that is OK. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Your best bet is to test the ignition switch feed. Could be a problem with the switch, connectors, a relay or a fuse potentially.
The C200 cable harness attached to steering column should be a 10 pin connector.
Thick Red cable should be constant 12V.

Check if you have power to the fusebox. Under one of the relays is a cap screw which should have +12v to it, if it doesnt, check the connection to the + terminal on the battery, it sometimes breaks under the heatshrink on the terminal.
Also check the capscrew is tight - it's in a tempting position for the uninitiated trying to open up their fusebox!
