Colour is Lapisbleau (spl)

Pretty basic spec too, windy windows/sunroof, no pas, no abs, no central locking.

Bet it goes pretty well - lightweight spec, with the ealier high compression M20B25. I'd ditch those skinny bottlecaps and get some 15" BBS on there for a bit more grip.

Nice clean example, i thought mine (85') was the last without PAS, am planning on converting though, will try and get some photo's up soon. 87,000 miles, fsh, 2 owners, bought it off an old couple for £300 :D Nic

I saw this in the flesh last week and it is a lovely motor.

Very similar poverty spec to mine, no pas or air con means a few more horses to the wheels :D.

I love this chromie, I'd keep it with the original poverty spec., you don't see many like that.

Thanks for the kind comments guys!

Will be staying original on top save for the 15"bbs which I must really get rubber'd up. Have got a Z3 rack and kit to put on or sell not sure yet and, I have began stripping my other 325i for suspension components which I will re-condition and put on this one. It's a slow process though so will update accordingly. Oh, and the cars called Charlie, did call her Charlotte but she didn't like it and much prefers Charlie. :?

Ok, so finally got round to pulling the rear subframe from the red e30. This started well as i had lost the locking wheel nut key

Drilled the feckers out then cracked on with removing the subframe.

Red car as it stands

Also got some new shoes for her

So i've got a complete rear end to get sand blasted, painted and bushed up. Front struts to sand blast and paint. Both front and rear will then be fully rebuilt ready to put on the chromie.

Also waiting to go on are a set of eibach springs 35mm from the red car and a Z3 rack and custom pipes - will have to remove the power steering setup of the red car as the chromie doesn't have power steering.

All i really need to buy are the bushes, new shocks, bottom arms and new brakes and that will (hopefully) see the running gear in tip top order. :P

The chromies which this will all be fitted to, pictured at the start, is running really well still. Done over 10k in a little under a year and is now being used as a second car. Not alot has been done to it bar oil and filter changes. It went to atech for a cambelt & water pump and thats about it.

More updates to follow soon...
