just took the sport out as have changed the alloy on my car as had the odd wheel on...

i thought the wobble was the old wheel not being balanced etc etc..

put the other alloy on and still get a wobble from the rear.
jacked car up checked for wheel bearing but no play..

so is it the rear bushes.. i not check them properly due to only having jacked car up.. with no axle stand.. im not taking the chance of my good looks being smashed in by a e30.

is it just wobbling or does it pull to the left as well?........ It could be your tracking or you may need to replace the wishbone if it does that :? .........

you're positive it is the rear? are you feeling the wobble through the seat rather than the steering wheel?

Worth checking the top mount as they often fail, but that more often causes a knocking sound.

It could be a brake caliper sticking. Go for a drive for a few miles and the stop and feel the wheel. Does that one feel hotter than others?

I was going to ask, why did you have an odd wheel on the back anyway? Had you or a previous owner had a smack and bent something?

a wheel bearing will not casue a wobble unless it is excessively worn to the point of almost falling off.

bearings will make a groaning/droning sound which will normally increase as you turn at speed (such as changing lanes on a mway)what is the noise you hear?

wobbling seats/steering i would definately have my wheels balanced before going too much further, while at it look to suspension bushes, mainly looking at the front end and steering ball joints

will do mate...

it sounds like the rear brake is grinding/spining.. but all pads are OK.. might be a worn/warped disc...

i new this car was going to need tlc... but all i ask is a nice ride no shake ratle or rolls  ...

i just ask my mate to take it to his garage to pin point the problem....
