Not to cause any friction at all but I have seen cars which he claims he has done or may have done I do not know for sure and they look stunning.

All I know from talking to various people from different meets like ace café and gaydon and santa pod last year is that he claims he dose all the work when from what I here is he gets somebody very close he knows to do the work.

This doesn’t bother me as long as my car is getting done properly but then again I would like to know who is actually going to work on my car as I have plans I would like to discuss with them.

From what I can remember he is based in west London ”¦.. is there nay well know bodyshops a bit closer to east London or ilford?

Regards

Thanks for this k13 going to see him some time tomorrow.

Dips I would love to tell you only if I knew who they actually were ...these people are just random bmw enthusiasts I guess. People that I meet around different meets and stuff all I know all of whom have mentioned these things about you were of all black white and asian.

Can’t give u any names as I don’t know any of them personally.

well dips has currently got my car in having some work done..... ive waited a little while for him to have time to do it, as he's had some fairly massive projects on the go and, of course, he has a life too, so i patiently (most of the time) waited. I wouldnt have waited at all if i thought for one minute that the work that would be done would be shoddy or outsourced. I dropped my car off at his house. Ive seen the work he does and his work speaks volumes.

Dips is old-skool Zone mate... he's been around since the day 'dot' with regards to this place and if he outsourced his work, people would openly slag him. He has a good reputation around these parts and for very good reasons. Trust him with your car. You wont be disapointed with the results. I know I wont be.

Really im pressed with the work I see and some final projects that I have come across that jag has done. He may not to much e30’s or probably has not done many in his time but he has don’t the bigger and better cars like Nissan skyline and Toyota supra’s”¦.he is well know in and around the area as far as I am concerned no offence to dips.. I mean I love his work to but this guy jag is just closer and produces the same level or if not better standards.

You both are supreme at what you do it just makes sense that I go to jags because firstly I have not herd bad news about him and secondly he is around the corner and offers to watch while he is actually working on your car.

Mate you sure you are not Jag's brother or something? So far you've come on here and said something very damaging about a member who has been here for years and has a fantastic reputation. As for the crap about your decriptions of who told you, my little daughter would have come up with a better excuse. If you are going to Jag's then FCUK off and go to him and stop your slandering!

Ha Ha, I see this place still has its humour, I have not seen or spoke to dips and booty for ages, how are you guys, how is the zone, Golf man now as you all probably know.

A work colleague took one of his cars to Jags, as recently as 2 months ago, he loves the jobs that jags has been involved in but his main concern was his premises, as he seems to be working out of two at present with one looking as it is going to be closed down. I have seen Jags at some of the VW shows, and his work is good so i am not knocking his work, but my colleague, was not happy with the premises set up and through this Jags has missed out on a potential 4 jobs as my colleague has a nice selection of VWs and Bms.

So to jon-m42, before you put your car in for any work just make sure you know who and where your car will be getting worked on, as to have one half maybe sprayed in one garage and the other half in another, might make the ending result not so good. Dont worry you dont have to thank me, any info to help out fellow zoners.

Might see some of you down Santa Pod as i have been given 1000 flyers to distribute and after all my hard work will probably be a shame to miss the day.

well ive got my car back and i can say without hesitation, that i am very happy with the job that he's done on my car, ESPECIALLY for the money he charged me.
Its good enough for me to say that he'll be getting my other car at some point, although I'll be handing over more money for that, as it'll be more time consuming as it'll require a higher level of finish that my daily driver simply didnt need.
Dips, i'll deffinately let you do the other bit we discussed on my daily driver though, as its already started to annoy the sh1t out of me, as its the only bit of the car that doesnt look really really nice now (and the rear valance..... although I'm trying to source a Zender rear skirt for that before you have my car back again) lol. You'll be sick of the sight of me by the time im finished. lol
