to fit your self is no too bad if you are patient and live in a country where there is no rain, i.e that means you are only fitting the roof to cut out wind noise. fitting the roof to make it waterproof is a different matter and is a pain in the arse, and unless experienced you will get leaks all over the place. We fitted a roof on a mustang here and was toying with doing my cab, but i am in bahrain and you mate are in sheffield and if my memory of that part of the world is correct you get a few days rain a year! leave it to the pros, the price of a hood is not cheap, and will not be too much more to have fitted.

I agree with the rain but i was thinking of fitting it in the winter when i take it off the road..
got a price of $525 from the states..which makes it worth while

A little
, thought this would be a better place to ask than starting a new topic.
What do you guys use on the back plastic glass of your convertibles to make it all nice and clear? I still have the original window in and is starting to get a little "murky"

Just used renovo, not overly impressed, however the blue restorer is excellent stuff. OK the screen cleaner wasn't too bad
but I found that Zymol cleaning wax 11 quid for 500ml from Halfords worked miles better. Superb on your bodywork too..............!
My screen is crystal clear now.
