:D hi just joined today,got a bad oilleak from the pressure valve on the oilfilter housing,any one know where i can get a seal kit or a housing,it has a oil cooler,hope some one can help,cheers lads :wink:

main dealer. It's not dear. You'll need the big main o ring that seals the housing to the block, the pressure relief valve kit. the seal half way along the main mounting banjo bolt and a new washer for the main bolt. That lot will set you back not much money and sort you for a good few years.

See the OEM parts section for this on tuesday, they will be closed for the bank holiday now.

will silcone work as might have the same prob .. looked at the block today and its coverd in oil...... not happy :x

Get the seal kit from BMW - it won't sort you for a good while - it'll sort you for ever.
The original parts have a design fault, which is addressed by the replacement parts.
