hi, i have most of my 2.7 conversion ready and know what im doing with it though there are a couple of things that i wanted to check.
1) It is replacing a 320 engine, will i defo need to put in a 2.5 gear box and prop shaft?
2) What is required to purchse a spigot bearing and fit it into the crank shaft, only just heard about this!
Two areas where i could do with some advice before i go ahed, Many thanks in advance.

1. The 320 gearbos will physically fit but your gearing will be right up the shoot. You'll definately need a 2.5 gearbox for the power of a 2.7.
2. What do you mean by "what's required to purchase it" you go to the shop and exchange money for the bearing!! You just knock it in with a suitable sized socket.

Hi Mate
Is it going in a manual or auto car?
I'm trying to run in my 2.7 engine, and the 2.5 auto makes it a really easy effortless drive!
85mph at 3000rpm using a 1/4 throttle

Make sure you get the felt ring and washers, there are a few other bits that go with the bearing that you'll need.M20olly wrote:thanks, guys. adam i miss phrased it a bit what i ment was what do i ask for. gues i go off with my money and get a spiggot bearing for an m20 2.5 engine, then tap it in job done.
