2.5i inlet manifold +throttle body

hi all
was looking at putting a 2.5i in my e30 currently a 2.0i but the price of the engines are quite steep for me just now
so my question is would a 2.5i inlet manifold with throttle body bolt onto my block and would i get any more performance from it than i currently have and would it be a straight forward swap over

Fitting the Throttle body improves throttle response i am lead to belive....

i dont think fitting the manifold will make any difference, as the head will then become the restriction.
