cheers for the comments guys Ive just got the front end to rebuild now .
Ive decided not to remove the gear box until christmas when the engines out for a 2.7 build Ive managed to source a 2.4 diesel crank and mahle pistons but i cant get them until December time. so ill replace the clutch and lighten the flywheel at the same time i have the crank balanced .
so ill just shot blast every thing on the front end and paint it all replace all bushes and joints ect ect and mot it just in time for pod all fingers and toes crossed .

I have only just found this thread after just getting myself an E30, absolutely amazing.... Well done, can't wait to start on the bodywork on my car now, but hope it's not quite that extensive!

Just read your update dude. Seems like your doing what I'm planning. I can only mine is done to this standard.
First point of call for me is rebuild the engine and get the bodywork up to scratch. Then onto the underside... then into the interior and final touches. Looking at many thousands
But it will be worth it!
Hope your finished product is worth it and you enjoy it!

nay hope you get there every time i look at the car it makes me smile so its worth it
just do what im doing and keep all the invoices in a draw and dont add them up my car owes me about 1.5"inches worth

Nice one Dan0 if only mine looked like the quality item you've got there. I don't know if you remember but I bought them sports seats off you about 18 month's ago and was wondering if you'd still got that diamond black sport?
