im interested in fittin an e36 m3 engine into my e30 an would like your views on it an what parts to use an which to modify, or better still someone who has done it that could tell me the do's an donts.

do buy a engine you have seen to run, dont rush into it! i got nearly all the info i needed to do mine of the zone. jai's, uwe's and damon's build threads are very helpfull, cheers guys

Do a search for S50 engine swaps. The engine code of the 3 litre is S50B30 and the 3.2 is the S50B32. That should help you find what you are looking for.
Buster, Dameon (old_skool), Ian332isport, Uwe and myself (to mention a few) have all posted a lot of information.
Ian is the wiring guru, and a really helpful and approachable guy. Old_skool 's threads on S50 swaps are very detailed. My thread is fairly recent as I've just finished the conversion, and I basically nicked all the best bits of other peoples ideas (that suited my parts/needs).
