:( i'm getting lower in horse power, but bigger in economy:D it's lame.
i curently have a 320i 2000cmc gasoline, and i was thinking for a diesel swap.
let's say a 318tds engine in the best case. what do i need for this?
what parts aside the engine itself do i need to install?

gearbox?
...and?
i know there are more but not shure wich ones.
thanks!

well i use it as day by day car, so going back and forth through the city get's for very high fuel consumption, so even if the engine is in top condition :(( the future is dark...

LPG u say hmm, that's a good idea but doesn't it wreck the engine being a dry explosion and all?

dont bother with the 1.8 diesel - its lame

go for the 2.5 diesel td or tds

you'll need fuel tank/pump as well

hmm now that LPG thing get's me thinking
let's say it goes like this: outside the city it gets 6-7 liters per 100km
in the city it slurps 12-16 liters per 100km distance.

with the LPG unit how will it go? same gas consumption? but a lower gas price?

i'm not really familiar with the LPG system but it sounds better than changing everything in the car converting it to diesel.

 i considered the options carefully, there are too many parts to have to convert it to a diesel might as well buy a whole diesel car.
and actually the diesel vibrations are not good for a gasoline intended model.

LPG it goes then :)
