go the 323 into the 318 over the weekend what a day sunday was im knackered
got the engine out of the 318 and the one out of the 323 and put the 323 into the 318
will post up piccies later all went fairly well but there was a few "im sure this fits" moments
wiring seems pretty simple only 2 wires which i dont know where they go which were spare swapped the ECU's and everything so hopefully wont be much longer. gonna use the 318 diff for a bit not sure what ratios they are but will prob be a screamer

Either a cracked head or the head gasket has gone. Weighing up the costs of a fixing or simply replacing the whole lump.

what engine size is it m8? if its a 318 i would suggest just dropping a new engine in its pretty easy saying that the others are pretty easy. whats your timescales and is it your daily drive?

well the swap was easy so depends on how much a new engine would cost you as to whether the swap was worth it. headgasket is not too hard but swapping the engine would prob be quicker

Daz if you do the 323 you should conver it to webber carbs, get more power and it'll sound awesome, and you can junk all the injection wiring.

Can make a manifold, would take some graft but could be done.
Weebers is the dig prob, finding them not difficult but they are so frigging expensive, and theyll need rejetting etc
