original BMW fire extinguisher. rare?
Moderator: martauto
not exactly common either rav. i bet that there weren't many u.k. cars that had this option fitted.
having said that, i saw a 325SE "scrappage car" in a breakers today, and there was one guy who got there just before me. he had grabbed a fire extinguisher!
(but i grabbed the SE skirts, bootlid liner, HLWW kit, fire ext. bracket, r/h/r kit, AFM, ICV and boot, etc., etc.

i bet the guy puts it in his kitchen.
did he just undo the strap and take the extinguisher only,or did he take the holder and leave the bracket?

Does anyone know if you can get a bracket to fit these to highback recaros?
Not at present, can get one tomorrow.
The normal sport seat bracket didn't look the right shape when i had a quick look ages ago.

you can still buy these brand new from the main dealers,as i did a year ago compleat with the bracket with is listed sepertly, and at least its in date and will work if needed, and you can get new first aid kits, glove box torch all for e30,a lot depends how helpful good the parts person is.
it was quite funny really. he said to me "i know you , you're adi, you bought an Alpina steering wheel off me". (sorry Ravmagpie wrote:

No they are not the same , but it doesn't take to much fabricating to make a new bracket to attach the fire ext holder to.Kedge wrote:Not at present, can get one tomorrow.
