As some zoners know ive had my eye on a black 2 door e30 just round the corner from me,the blokes had the car for years and for the past couple of months ive noticed it hasnt moved

So on sunday i gave his door a knock and asked what he was doing with it,hes brought a new car (mondeo :? ) so i threw in a cheeky offer of £200 for the E30! To cut a long story short we agreed on £225! I couldnt believe it and couldnt stop smiling :D

Right the spec of the car is

Gloss black 2 door 325i manual
1988 with dateless plate
9 months mot
tax till end sept
FSH with 43 stamps, all mots from new and a folder full of receipts
high comp m20/b25
tech-1 spoiler
is front lip
se skirts
bull terrier spec comfort seats
dodgy 17" alloys with a set of 15" BBS's thrown in
body in decent condition obviously rear arches will need surgury soon and front bumper has had i light knock but nothing to flap about
Oh the bloke said "its got one of them slippy diffy things" :chuckle: (ill check in due course)

Anyway as you can guess im chuffed to bits :D

Heres a few pics of the turd in question

Congratulations Lee, what a result. Wished I hadn't sold my F-reg gloss black 325iSE with high comp engine for £1200 a couple of years ago, but at least it went to a good home.

Best of luck with it 8)

My last frag motor was a black 2 door 325i. It had central locking and electric mirrors, standard items. No electric windows, no PAS, no sunroof, nothing. A nice little touch congrats :D

What a steal!!!

I must do that with a Tec 2 kitted 4 door near me... be worth fragging for the kit and 15" BBS alone on it if I got an answer like, "take it away shur"

And a 525i auto next to it would sweeten the deal for an M50 winkeye

What an absolute result. Bit of jiggery pokery and you can make it into a very nice, original(ish) 325i. Who sells a car of any type with 9mths MoT for £225??

Cheers for the comments guys!

Bit of an update, ive striped the front end (bumper, grills, splitter, etc) and repainted and it looks much fresher now.

I went through all the receipts last night and this car has been a no expense spared car, there's tons of receipts from a place called 'Marques of Telford' aparently they are BMW specialists :? Fookin cowboys more like, they must of seen this bloke coming rubbing there hands together, there isnt a bill under £300 and theres about 20 of them for jobs that just didnt need doing!

I went for a rip in it aswell today and its quite a lively old turd,i also 'traditionally' tested the diff while i was out and it left only one line on the tarmac which let me know its open diff wrongness, Oh well you cant win em all.

Zaust, im not up for selling it yet but do you have any more pics of the black E30 on the left in your sig for some inspiration :D

Rav, this is the car i was telling you about last time we met and no i didnt bully him (not this time),i just have a knack of controlling thick people who know nothing about E30's :snigger:

As for the engine the M20 isnt staying but i havent decided whats going in yet.....

*cough* M60
