hello all new to this forum so i thought id start buy giving u all a thumbs up, loving the site layout very well constructed site + the wiki section will prob provide hours of head scratching fun :) and with that ill start with my engine problems ;)

right me puny lil motor (auto) is finding it hard to make anything over 4k revs now i realise that its cack and prob dont have much in the way of power after that rpm any way, but i think it would be nice to have the opption in the 1st place if u get me:). symtoms are odd it just seems to completly out of puff like its missing or just totaly f+@ked dont know much about the history of it. only just bought it and it was 4 the shell its a 2 door 1990 in white. the engine will eventually be pulled out but i wana c if i can sort it b4 that happens as i would prefer to sell it complete rather than parting the motor

any sujestions guys and girls cheers

It's possibly an ignition fault (distributor cap or rotor arm), but is more likely a worn camshaft.
Note the zone rules about text speak and generally incomprehensible English!

Are you rebuilding or dropping in a new donk?
