Painting my rocker cover :)

Right big thanks to Eko who kindly gave me this rocker cover, all i had to pay was postage

Right well i've started the polishing of the top logo,





Now i've bought a tin of smooth black Hammerite to do it, do i now paint the whole thing black with even brush strokes, then while its still wet take it off the bmw logo, or wet n dry it again once the paint is dry?

Paint/spray the whole thing and then polish the stripes & lettering when it's dry

Well its coming along, gona take your advice and re sand it afterwards, shouldnt think it will take long.

Cause if not then you could of used the one you gave me

no didnt get round to doing it on the red one,but ive sold that on to my mate now,minus the interior and my new one is an M10 318i

All pianted and the BMW bit polished, will borrow the missis' digi-cam and get some pice 2morow.

Not yet, been busy and finished it off last night.

The problem is it was all painted and then took the paint off the BMW logo etc with sand paper, this was fine but it left a bit of a rough finish, I knew it would do this so had some wet n dry to use. Problem is the particles from the wet n dry got inbeded in the paint and turned it grey a bit so had to re-paint it

Should get a pic up tomorow

Im still waiting for my Pagid fast road pads to arrive, then i can go to liskeard where i get all my work done on the bm (i.e fit all the brakes), and then pick up the front splitter as thats where it is.

So not to sure yet, but will be soon
