I think so.ffelan wrote:and am figuring 205's are a bit stretched on 8" rims?
I thought it was the front that caused problems with wide tyres because they hit on the strut? I guess with ET13 wheels the problem will be wheel arch bit. with 15" wheels they might be ok though. I have had 225/50/16 on the back with no problems, not with ET13 wheels though.
Might tramline a bit but if it is a track car it wouldn't matter?

I have 225/50/15 Yoko S1s on my 325i....on 7x15" (i think...might be 7.5s, tho) and they don't hit anything...It isn't lowered at all, though..

This will be 225 50 R15 on ET 13 with 8" rims...arches are being rolled as much as is physically possible and maybe a bit more.
Tramlining, maybe an issue, but only for the drive to track as it's not a daily runner
Ta for the input...it will be lowered, guess we'll have to cross our fingers on anything catching etc.
