Out of interest, what did you hate about the car?
I've had a manual 328 saloon and (still have) a 325 auto. Both I've found to be really decent cars. Was it just the combo of the 2.8 and the auto box?

Sold: 1986 E30 325i Cabriolet, Alpine White

Don't get me wrong, It was a fsh with all the boxes ticked and chicken schinetzel wheel's, Stripes and spoilers. It was just so damm boreing to drive. I felt like i was sitting in just another car. The new owner is extatic with it, Good luck to him and I hope he enjoy's it. My old man had it for a good few months on his drive and only drove it once. Comment was "it look's good, but I would not have one. " (he has a 330 e46 and a e39 540 touring)
I still got the hard top and deflector to sell on when it start's getting cold too ;) ..

TBH, if one comes up in good nick, good service history and good milage etc, in the colours I like then I probably would buy one. I do like them a lot. But my E30 would still be my weekend/fun car. The M3 would be a daily driver, as thats what they are. Very rapid daily drivers. Steering is very, very heavy though.

Uni is killing the project.

you guys need to get the e46 M3 evo, that is the daddy of M3's! Before you lot start talking about the e90 M3, then let me just say that it is out of mine and alot of peoples price range. But for the money the e46 M3 evo Convertible in SMG is much better then the e36 M3 evo and is a very
car.

E36. Good car. Infact, very good car. Just boring and shite design for the interior. Its an E36 with a bodykit and a powerful engine. Vadar seats are really nice though....
E46. Unfortunately, at 21, turning up somewhere to test drive one of these (garage or seller) will ultimately reject me (even though I'm more than capable!). So I'm yet to drive one. Nice looking cars, really understated. But still, its an everyday business man's (executive) saloon.
E90. Ha, fat chance I'll drive one of these for a few more years to come. Ugly pile. Probably very nice though!
M3s are loosing their edge. E30 M3s look wild. E36 M3s look nice, but still they could have done more. After that, drivability up, looks down.

Uni is killing the project.

I briefly had an auto 325 - the car shifted but god it was the most boring car I've ever had, proper numb feeling and I'd never have one again - maybe a touring for practical use
Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.
Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....

Fwiw, I think the E46 M3 looks fantastic. Shame they didn't do a touring....
E30 Touring 0.35 cD - more slippery than prison soap
