Trying to help out another zoner here

Fitted another engine and gearbox, engine turns freely by hand but the starter motor just makes the clicking noise

starter was tested and was ok

what two pins do you link to try to turn the starter over?

Make sure you have BOTH the 13mm terminals connected. Theres a black and a red.

To test it its the 10mm terminal below the 13mm terminal bridged with the 13mm terminal. I know cio we were doing this last night!

But make sure you have both the big wires attached at the same point.

Solenoid. Bridge the 10mm with the main 13mm where the 2 big main cables attached. That will kick the starter into action

the one in the Diagnostic plug ? I think it's pin 11 but double check I am no sparky !
