3 wires in order to get the thing started, for windows, blower and eco guage.
Ecu will sit opp way round as the e34 loom to ecu is just that bit short.

think i get it not sure tho because i have all of my stuff working and not hade to change any of the wiring ??? yet got windows but no bowers

Have you earthed the green wire taken from the body loom?
Normally goes to the small nut on the starter motor,but can be just earthed like mine

On my 1989 facelift E30 325i it was black and green wire from pin 15 on the body loom to one of the very small earth terminals on the starter motor that got the blower working.

without doing any wiring mods, it will start. the windows will work when the door is open too...
