Search for liquid leather

think its by a company called gliptone or something like that... it comes highly recommended by people on the zone... I have only used the care and cleaner from them and that was good stuff!

If that doesn't help, investigate leatherique (.com). It's a lot of work (basically as much as bodywork) but does the job really well.

Gliptone stuff is the daddy of all leather cleaners

Needs effort but is worth it.

It's highly recommended for use on older cars like E30s. They will even do a colour match of your leather so you get the right colour dye.

I've used the standard Gliptone off some shop on Ebay - it does a really good job. i didn't know they had colour matching stuff - I need some for the leather in my 635csi - it's got Pacific blue leather, really scuffed - the standard Gliptone has done a good job, but I think I need colour-matched stuff to get a really good result - anybody got a contact number/website i can check out??

Hi - got Pacific blue dye for my 635 Csi (500ml, they are pretty kn**kered) direct from Gliptone. One point - if you have already cleaned and conditioned the leather using Gliptone, you need to remove the conditioner before dying it with the colour stuff. Gliptone sell a solvent to do it, but they also say Meths does the job. It is also much cheaper than their solvent. Plus you get that great 'alcy' pong in the cabin afterwards!!
Also, would recommend buying direct from Gliptone - I got some off Ebay -Ԛ£0.05 a bottle cheaper than Gliptone, but postage Ԛ£1.95 more, so save yourselves Ԛ£1.90 by buying direct. you also get a very tacky foam rubber keyring thing 4 free!!

How often does the liquid leather stuff need to be applied after the first reatment to keep it looking good?

Depends on how dry your leather is. Keep putting it on until the leather stops soaking it up. After that a light application about every 3 months.

Gliptonehttp://www.liquidleather.com

Brillant stuff, the paint seats into the cracks and wear. Leaving it look new again. Top notch!

Used 500ml for covering sport seats (a few coats), still have half bottle left.

The best way is to take the seats apart and cover each part, so they don't stick to each other.

There is leather filler (for deep cuts and cracks) on the furniture page. Going to give that a try.

I get some pictures up.
