of sandpaper.

Looking good, thinking about trying to do the spokes black(to hide the brake dust!)but leaving the front of them silver, but the masking up would drive me crazy!

You could paint the lot and then sand down the front of the spokes to reveal silver again, then lacquer.

Hoping to get some new tyres on these in time for Gaydon. Then i,ll start doing the wheels
on my car atm. In the meantime i will make a start on rubbing down my Zender skirts and rear valance, while it,s not chucking it down.

I did this a while ago to one of my standard 15" BBS (no lacquer though). Painted the whole thing black, polished the lip, then used a detail sander to remove the paint from the front of the spokes, gradually working my way through the grades. I reckon it gives a more realistic "cross spoke" effect, as well as the illusion of longer spokes:

Unlike gooner, I've not found the motivation/time to do the other three yet... that one took ages!

Once u have cut the paint back with a sander on the face of the wheel u could use a polishing mop or attachment on a drill to polish the metal
