Is this show big? what sort of cars show up?
Is it full of modded things or more of a Bmw car club mudflap event?

I want to go but no1 I know is up for it!

I'll have to make it over there one day. But I'd rather like someone local who's also interested to attend as travelling and going up there by myself, hotel and back again.... nah.
Where abouts in the UK is it?

Uni is killing the project.

Few god awful modified cars as you get at any show, but realistically it's only good if you get off on seeing line after line of polished standard cars.
But there is a drive on the Aston Martin Test track. Which is less interesting than the M25

its a good place to catch up with folk you don't see too often. Always a tasty morsel to be had by the early birds off the traders, and a chance to see some unusal metal, Z1's. Z8's B10 bi-turbos
I like it

Well I am going on my own and there is an unoficial E30Zone stand with other Zoners cars.SilverShadow wrote:I want to go but no1 I know is up for it!
The museum usually has some intersting cars and like someone said you can have a go on the track.

It's only ok IMO. The Heritage Centre itself is pretty poor! I went about 4 years ago,and may go again this year if the weather is good!? Wouldnt do it every year!
There again I might be tempted to drive straight past it and visit Warwick castle instead!

The thing is here. If you are REALLY into BMW's and are SERIOUSLY into the marque then this is the biggest BMW show going. Therefore what is there not to like? It's one day in the calendar thats all, and even if you go and just do the bits YOU want to do i.e. the trailer queens, the modded stuff, the trade stands or even just to mix a bit of everything and get a free look round the heritage museum...... it has to be worth going surely?????

If you haven't been GO as it is not a bad show ...I am not going as if you have been for the last 5 years I have as it tends to be the same every year.. ...going to Cadwell for a track evening instead the week after..it will cost about the same and will be more fun...i hope

If you have never been then do go. It is supposed to be the event of the year and there are plenty of BMWs to see, not just E30s.
There are a few traders there but be early if needing anything good.
Decide for yourself. We are told that numbers attending are up each year so something must attract them all.
The lads from this end of the world see it as a good weekend with the boys and cars - can't argue with that one

Think I'll be there this year. Apart from anything, it'd be good to meet a few far flung zoners. BTW, advance tickets @ £9 finish on Monday @ 4pm, otherwise it's £11 on the gate. If you're as tight as me, you care about that two quid!

Yes you are. Up to 90mph (it's a wonder you can breathe at such speeds!) behind the Safety car.bilun777 wrote:Anyone know what the test track drive is like? Are you allowed to give it some welly.
Imagine a 4 lane motorway in a large oval and you are there
Go to Google Maps and type in "Gaydon, Warwick, United Kingdom"
and you can see it to the West of the pin.
