I did it a few days ago too, using silacone. I didnt think much about it before hand!
Seems to do the job though.

Mine came with rivets in the pack, so i used them.

Does it affect adjusting the lights? Do they need to be able to unscrew, because i think u adjust screws on the lights to adjust their angle or something?
