Hi,
does anybody have a pic of a manifold/downpipe from an m20 engined car with a e36 rack fitted ?
I would like to know where the problem lies with using an e36/z3 rack with a 6 branch (i am led to believe it touches) so that I can come up with a solution.
I'm thinking along the lines of moving the column (which sits too high for me anyhow) and/or making a slimline coupling with new uj's.
any pics are much appreciated.
thanks
Will

All i did to resolve the problem is move the steering rack about 5mm to the right, because of the nature of the rack it does not affect the steering but you will have to re track the steering.

There is a thread running to produce a btb3 manifold that fits quick racks, in the group buy section.
I said:
Can anyone suggest how to test if the boot lights are staying on with the boot shut?

I have fitted my Z3 rack, just need the pipes now. Will try and bend the old ones before splashing out
Manifold was on the cards next but now I'm thinking about turbo's so I dont know what the plan is...
