i have a squeeky/water flowing sound coming from this area around entrance to heater matrix on my 325 tourer///// its engine speed related and starts at 2k'ish and gets higher pitched as u rev it

my carpet seems dry but could there be a leak or something inn the matrix?

cheers

dont hold me to this but the only thing in that area is your brake servo, that may be making the sound, or in your center console you have your heater matrix, what i would to to test it would be to bridge the hoses underneath the bonnet for the heater and try again,

hope this helps

probably water related

if u plumb the heater in the wrong way round u get a clicking noise that increases speed perfectly with engine speed so if urs is speed related it probably sommat to do with matrix

as g57yle says if u really want to sort it plumb the heater matrix outa the system first

i think drift slags are supposed to make some odd noises though, mine certainly does

If the heater is plumbed in the wrong way round, I think the heater will work ok when the engine is at idle, but not when the revs are higher, could also cause the noises.

noise cured..... a quick cross check with sport showed that the heater pipes were on the wrong way round
