Nürburgring trip
Moderator: martauto
Here you go, full list of events happening out there. Touristenfahrten is public driving, so book your trip when the opening times are good. Prepare yourself for massive traffic jams and constant closures on weekends, lapping on a weekday evening is so much nicer.

best site here, all the info you could possibly need. www.nurburgring.org.uk
Ps) Don't go with worn out brakes, althought he track isn't hard on brakes overall, the braking points are from high speed and some are steeply downhill!

Can anyone suggest how to test if the boot lights are staying on with the boot shut?

Mattrs, you lucky lucky man!!
Have a good time, if you enjoy it 1/2 as much as I did, you'll have a ball.
(God I must get back there, every time I read of someone going, I get all nostalgic and I've only been there once!)

No mate, but I've done as much research as I can and I think I'm ready for it (famous last words eh?)mattrs wrote:Not 100% sure yet, but definitly before then. Have you been before?
Unfortunately the day we're gonna be there the 'ring is only open from 1715 to 1930, but that still gives us time for a few laps.

Yer i am sorry for my bad spelling. i am dislexic and find it just as hard to read your posts as you do mine.

Hi Matt,
I'm there from the 17th - 20th, then blasting down to Munich. Even though its only open for a couple of hours you can still get a couple of decent laps in.
I did when i was last there 2 years ago anyway. Hopefully the dates are the same and we can meet up.
