I wouldn't bother to plate that hole in the front valance, just fit another. Shouldn't be hard to find one in that colour.

So its all go now... past the point of no return!! lmao...

done a few more bits this week, got the wings primed up so just to make new end sections and weld into place then thats the wings finished.
hada big shock when i tackled the n/s jacking point... it felt good and only hada lil hole.. i thought 'sweet!' ground it back and things didn't look good.. grabbed it and wiggled it... then it came off!! oh fuck i thought!! now i gotta strip the interior and spend the weekend welding it up, and the other side dont look good either :( but still at least i can make a nice beefy jackin point to weld onto the new floor plate.. should be fun!!
some pix neways..

pulled a lump of GRP from here.. some bodge-job!!

needs a small plate fittin then sealin up

Thought someone would have said something about the 'jacking point' not being a jacking point by now (trolleys, factory etc.)... Sorry - just being daft. Keep going mate - you've got more motivation than me at the mo, that's for sure! :P
