i am replacing my harnesses and am baffled by the huge array of options. my questions are

1) 2 inch or 3 inch - does it matter ??
2) aircraft sytle buckle or ordinary click in ? (aircraft ones look cooler i think !!)
3) 3,4,5,6 point ?? i currently have 4 point and they seam to ride up a bit so i am thinking 5 or 6 point.
4) brand ??
5) cheap suppliers - i tend to always look at Demon Tweeks - is there anyone else you would recommend ?

your advice/experience most welcomed
cheers
Jonathan

I have a 6 point harness with 3" lap and shoulder and 2" crutch. Seems good to me, really holds me in well. I think the main difference between 4 point and 5 & 6 point is that with a 4 point it is possible in certain accidents for you to slip out underneath the harness and possibly get you head or neck hooked on the lap straps. A 5 or 6 point should stop this.

Mine is Klippan brand, seems ok and they are FIA approved.

All depends what your building the car for the MSA have said that next year all Rally cars must have FIA approved 3" belts. I'd go 5 point 3" also it depends on the seats you have Im going for Motodrive black seats with blue 3" 5 point sabelt harnesses.
