325i wont start

my car which has ran withut problems for over 2 years will not start. I was driving alng when it began to idle a little rough, i swithced the engine off. when i tried starting it there was no spark. What could the problem be?

as above but its norlly the wiring that wears through rather then the sensor itself and also check the DME relay - found under the small cover just next to the Air Flow meter

crank sensor has been changed still no luck

also alarm immoboliser has been removed and still no luck
