front brake calipers

is there an up grade on say a newer bmw i can fit to mine like of fords granade onto cortina as capri .
would like some 4 pots

cheers jhonno only i have seen a couple of mate who are scrapping a e36 thats all and they were any good i would have had them free

WMS and Wilwood to a 280mm 4 pot kit for the E30. What I found from buying Wilwoods was that I needed the WMS brake lines and the WMS spacers.

Keri from WMS is on this forum and no doubt will pick up this thread and help you out

Thinking of going 4 pot - are the Wilwoods any good?
I've also heard that you can use the 750 calipers but cant seem to find any more information. Can anyone shed any light?

You can use E38 740i 4pot Brembo's but it's not an easy route to go down. I am still struggling to get these on my M5 engined Touring but they do fit as I know someone with them on an E30, its the caliper mounting bracket which is the issue.....

As Tom has already mentioned, The E38 Brembo's can indeed be made to work on an E30

.

You'll need a minimum of 16" wheels with a high offset in order to get them to work though

A couple of pics to show them fitted with 16's and 302mm x 28mm disks

I'll make a copy of the mounting bracket for you Tom. as soon as Iget some time to whip the caliper and braket off.

That old thing is no longer a viable option Tom

It's been rolled since that pic was taken.

Might not be exactly what you are looking for (does not use recycled BMW parts) but may include some useful dimensions and info FYI.
