Got 1991 318i m40 120k runs like a bag of poo, one day it will run ok on low revs but put foot down it will back fire through air box and hold back and slow down, next day foot to floor goes really well 10 mins later back to the above, no fault codes.
this is whats been changed, ECU x2 AFM x3 TPS x2 COIL x2 DIST CAP & ROTOR x2 second hand now on new one PLUGS NGK LEADS x3 FUEL PUMP & FILTER, temp sender to ecu OK, compression OK, removed all alarms and immobs.
Any ideas please as at a bit of a loss
