My pre face lift 1988 e reg 320i has the standard single outlet back box but i want to fit a 325i system/backbox but what tail pipes should it have?slash cut/angled/straight.as i want it to look period.any picture would be grate.

If it has not body kit then angled tails with OEM chrome tips.

Has been replaced with a stainless system at some point but I think its the same design as the OEM stuff.

I like the angled stuff as well but its a bit marmite :mad:

My Dad's old 1987 325i had a GSF replacement back box which was straight out stright cut! :mad:

Its just preference I think? I will have a look for some pictures for you! :D

If it was my car I personally prefer the slash cut, But don't mind either angled or straight exit! :mad:

Either way twin pipes ftw! :D

If your getting scorpion STW tails then get them without the gash scorpion logo. I did.

Danthe --> did you get the STW version?
I am also very tempted by the STW scorpion for my chromie cab.
Is the length of the tailpipes the same for Le Mans and STW?

I contacted Scorpion and they can make a backbox with STW tips, but I will have to wait until they make a new batch of e30 exhausts...
Other places to buy?
