Yes I know there metric, yes I know tires will cost a fortune, yes I know they wont fit an E30, yes I know they are 5 stud, but 5 alloys for £21!!!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... tsupported

So what do you reckon folks are this worth refurbishing and selling on? A mate of mine will do the referb for free as long as I supply the materials or shall I just keep em as a garden ornament until someone offers me some cash for em

I knew they would be worth very little due to them being metric but had a little punt and won em

Have to admit i didnt think they were splits as i couldnt see any bolts

Still it'll brighten up the garden or the workshop a little

Good buy there, I did see these and was tempted myself but already have 5xBBS's in my garage (£16 off ebay :D ) and picking up my 525 tomorrow with 2 spare BBS's!

Get them fitted or get yourself a cheap E34 or E32 - maybe, like you say clean them up and sell on!

It's unreal how cheap these are :D
Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.

Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....

They are cheap because the only tyre that fits is a 240/45/415 metric tyre made by michelin, they are crap and they cost £250+ each !

I have literally dozens of them you can collect for free. I'm only keeping them as slaves until scrap prices rise. Worthless. They are not worth £21.00.

I have to say, I think you've bought a chocolate fireguard there. I suppose if you had a 5-stud BM they'd keep it off the floor while you had its wheels refurbished or whatever, but they are otherwise useless. Metric wheels are something most people like to keep as 'someone else's problem'.

I'd take the seller to task over these... they're not 17" wheels... they're not split rims. False advertising... Pete, was it you that was selling them by any chance? lol
