I got hold of an M50 for nothing a few weeks ago

paid £50 and went to take it out myself - I swiped afew other things off the car, sold them and broke even!
There is a couple of cars on egay at the moment - trouble is they are the other end of the country.
Clwyd breakers in wrexham has an M52 in at the moment - complete with EWS and key! Don't know how much he would want though. (He also has a mazda rotary engine in.....

!)

Now driving an E46 320D touring

, but it get's worse..... the new project is going to be Ford powered!

It says 535i SE on the log book. It's pretty high spec. I'll get registered on there Lee! Nice one, might be able to shift some of the leftovers?

I would try and get the engine running before you rip it out to make sure its fine.
did the seller say it was a wiring issue why it wouldnt start?

Got a pair of 325i front struts with brakes by any chance?

Yep can sort you out with that, not a complex tool to operate - you put it in.... and batter the crap out of it

Nice one Daf. I suspected that may be the case. Figure it'll be a lot easier to change those bits now before the new lump goes in.

Will be yes - you won't be able to jack it up when the lump goes in because no car jack will be capable of lifting that engine

If you really wanted it on the forum just put a link to your breaker ad in the eBay section
Having to pay £10 to use a forum is daft

Thinking about it, It might be a lot more straight forward to drop this into the 325...
wouldn't cost me as much and would really look like it belonged there.
