pretty much everything you get in a sport dude 2.5 straight six, black leather recaro, mtec 2 steering wheel, azev alloys, spax 60 drop all round with spax matched shox, air con, obc, alpine cd head unit, chipped, k&n induction kit, stainless back box but not too sure if its a full system, sounds deep, thats a rough guide, let me know if ive missed anything.

full service history with 159k, high mileage i know but its all documented and has been looked after, if you work it out 159k aint to bad for how old it is, usual scabs on passenger rear wheel arch, just a few bubbles as of yet

Depends on how desperate you are to sell or how long you want to wait

Low Ԛ£2k and I'm sure you'll sell quicker than the proverbial, go higher but might have to wait for the peeps with more dosh.

sorry mate, but when buying a car, you buy it "As is"

there is no requirement for the buyer to take into account that it has Ԛ£800 worth of wheels on it, or that it has just had a new exhaust etc.

Mods never make their money back on a car :(

Ԛ£2.8k seems reasonable to me

yeh i know that, 2.8k seems a lot more better than 2k that the above person quoted me, i think personally its a 2.5k car all day long, you know yourself 320touring e30325isports are worth a lot more than 2k in the condition mine is in, especially with "full service" history

see i wouldnt say any sport is worth more than Ԛ£3k tops, but thats personal opinion.

Your car is tidy and well cared for!

good luck with the sale

very true buddy its a good job i only want around 2.5k for it, personally i think the same....yeh e30's are cool but you goitta really think deep into it, at the end of the day its a 16 year old car!!! who wants to be shelling out 3k? i agree, i know one thing though its worth more than 2k! some people still ask of that price for an m-tech 1, you dont get many sports around nowadays with full service history and documents for each and evry job ever been completed on them, im not trying to sell my mods in anyway what so ever, just want someone who knows the "sport" market a little better than me to give me a price on what an 325i sport mtech2 fetches, thats all, also cheers for all the info offered guys

Hi there

You really need to check a range of sources to gauge a realistic price. A car is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. Mods wise, you never get it back mate. Look at some of the wonderful creations we have in our membership....money that will never return in Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£s.

Last month I sold my poverty spec. 318i for Ԛ£1K. I then sold all my mods (leathers, alloys, exhaust etc.) for a further Ԛ£800 approx. that I took off the car. It's a way to get your cash back and these cars are worth more in parts these days. I would never have got Ԛ£1800 for the car with the stuff on it as it was just a 318i.

I suggest you keep an eye on the BMW Car Club (GB) site and sites like Pistonheads. Also a monthly scan of Autotrader would be wise. That way you can see the variations. Last month I spotted at least 3 Sports for over Ԛ£5,250 and WLN regularly sell 'mint' Sports for over Ԛ£6K. Have a look at their site.

If you are really keen to get a price then Ron Parish (keeper of the E30 Register for the BMW CC UK) will do a valuation for you but you gotta be a member of the Club.

HTH.

so what your saying that you dont think that grey sport which has been garaged for 16 years with hardly any mileage is not worth more than 3k? If it was up for 5k you'd be the first one there with your cheque book! :D

good luck with the sale, sell wheels separately and advertise for 2,800

dam right rowemeister you tell um baby, these fetch a bloody fortune in tip top condition, however mine does have ther odd scab here and there, nothing to cry about though as i aint even asking for nowhere near 4k, personally i think its a good motor, yeh it needs tidying up a (little) but isnt that why we buy them???? whats the point of buying an e30 and not touching it??? you cant help yourself once you get started, there is so much you can do to them, engine and body, thanks again rowemeister, cracking info mate

I have had someone off this forum who offered me Ԛ£4000 without seeing the car. This person is also someone of importance here too and has had some really good e30's.
The engine I have will help me if I sell it but you can get good money for them.
There are a lot of scabby ones out there so if yours only has a little rust on rear arches and the odd tiny dent or scratch you should get decent money for it.
Also advertise nationally mate.
You cant give an exact price on a cars value until its seen in the flesh. IMHO

My only point from the post I made earlier is low price = quick sale, higher price might take longer. It depended on how desperate you were to sell. :D

I spent nearly a year and a half looking the prices for 318iS and 325iS. The 325iS I saw generally went between Ԛ£2500 to Ԛ£3500 depending on milage etc, in the private adds, but you will always stand the chance of someone being keen and willing to pay top-end such as e-bay examples mentioned. Minters, are in a different league though.

I think the car looks well nice by the way!

As said before, it is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for.

My mate is struggling to sell his G plate black 325 Sport for Ԛ£2500. 150k, full history, Full leather, air con, alpine system, completely stock body and bbs's etc. No rot other than 1 scab.

Car is cool as fook... I guess no one has any money at the moment ?? :?

All true all true.

Although I did hear of someone about a year ago could not sell his sport and it was 2-2.5K. After advice from others he upped the price to Ԛ£3250 and it sold in a week @ that asking price.

I sometimes wonder if people expect to pay a certain price and see one going cheap and think it may be a dog. Who knows. 8O

i laugh when people say only one scab on the rear arch etc, take the body kit off then u will see the rust these cars have. About 99% of sports left have rust lurking under the kit.

Most are repairable but a good few are getting borderline dodgey and dangerous.

As a mint sport on the outside can be a whole world of fibreglass horror underneath that kit

this is probably true si, the fact is that if you were going to look for an e30, where woulld look 1st?? boot lid and rear arches!!! they all go there mate, you gotta expect this from cars this old, i think all work needed to get back into mint condition is pretty easy to sort, its not hard although sometimes can be expensive to repair!

Just put a new boot lid on mine. 8O
I had a little rust showing under the spoiler, took the spoiler off and 2 of the 7 holes where it bolts were rusted. :?
Rusted bad enough for me to put on a mint lid anyway.

1stly i never said no one would be the first to veiw my sport, 2ndly who's asking 5k??? where the fook has that figure come from? im looking for the best price i can get for it but beleive me its nowhere near 5k, even i wouldnt pay that for a 16year old car mint or not, thats just silly, 320touring i know what your saying buddy, its the whole door situation for me too, 2 doors just aint enough, i knew i should have gone for a touring but there you go, i went with looks rather than practicality, never mind, im sure there is someone out there willing to pay what im asking for her, she bin a good motor and never let me down, i truley will be heart broken when she goes  anyway why dont we close the topic now because we are going to get nowhere with all of these different sums and figures, just wanted to see what i few people thought i should sell her for and instead all they wanna do is tell me what rust buckets they are, cheers for the help fellas
