Ok, I ordered one of these the other day as they looked like a good idea:

only trouble is, now I've come to fit it, I can't get the short arm between the dash and the vent! Anyone fitted one of these before or know how to get between the dash and vent?!!!

Thanks a lot

Maybe you have to fit LHD heater controls first

I just screwed mine to the centre console. How much is a replacement?

I had one of these before I got bluetooth. It's a really tight fit and I did nick the dash putting it in. My advice is get bluetooth 8)

Cheers guys I have got bluetooth, but i've also got satnav on my phone so I need to be able to mount it in a clearly visible position. Its ideal where its going to go, so I just need to get it in there. Tusker, did you have to pull anything out or use any tools or anything to get it in place?

thanks

Sorry for not getting back earlier William - I'm not regularly on this forum at the moment - concentrating on getting my 5 up to scratch. I did slide my penknife in carefully to explore the gap and get a feel for how it was supposed to fit and in the end just decided that a bit more effort was needed. Be careful though I did slightly nick the dash putting it on.

thanks tusker, its ok, I worked it out. It was rubbish though, no secure fit, wobbled all over the place so I sent it back. Now trying to decide what to use instead. Thanks
