Blo*dy rain

Tidied up the garage today in preparation for stripping the e28, got the car up on axles stands at the front was just gonna drain the fluids and get the engine ready for pulling and the heavens opened.

Just remember this, your going underneath the car do undo the gearbox bolts, not me on sunday

Well decided i was been a girl, so went back out in the rain and made a start

Drained all the fluids, Auto gearbox, Engine oil, coolant

Disconnected all electrics as required, just need to disconnect ecu loom and pull back into engine bay

Unbolted AC compressor from engine block

Unbolted power steering pump

Removed rad and all coolant pipes possible

Gonna get under tomorrow and discoonnect prop and loosen gearbox mounting plates and engine mounts in readiness for sunday.

Hopefully Sunday should be a breeze

join the club paul! i was out there today removing the exhaust, heat shields, prop, gearbox and clutch from the 325 today. got soaked laying in puddles that seemed to converge right under the middle of the car (of course), but laying in the nice hot bath, feeling glad that i'd completed what i set out to do today, was well worth it!
